User synchronization

When a new user is set up on the marketplace and assigned to a subscription, the Developer is notified and the user is automatically set up on the developer system. See User assignment for more information.

When a new user is created on a developer platform, the marketplace is not notified, and the two systems are out of synchronization.

Developers use the User Sync API to synchronize their users with the marketplace. They can send a request to the marketplace to assign, or unassign, a user with a license.
