  • Can I add prompts to generate images using an AI?

    You cannot prompt an AI to generate images directly. We don't support this capability yet as interactions are purely text-based. However, you can generate instructions to learn how to create certain types of graphics or images.

  • Can I index a webpage that requires authentication for access?

    Only public pages can be indexed and configured as a data source for your AI.

  • I've adjusted the settings for Temperature. However, I still receive widely varied responses from my AI. How can I improve these results?

    In addition to adjusting the temperature, you can add a prompt in the training instructions along the lines of "only use the configured knowledge to answer questions". This ensures that the AI is referring to only the datasets you have configured and is less dependent on public model data. Also ensure that the temperature setting of the AI is around 0.5. These changes should improve in returning more consistent results.

  • Is there a limit to the number of questions/prompts I can ask in a conversation?

    No, there isn’t a limit to the number of questions or prompts that can be raised in a conversation. However, the length of continuous usage of AppDirect AI is based on the terms of service usage policy.

  • I no longer need to use an AI. Can I archive or delete it?

    AIs cannot be archived. However, you can delete them. Note that you can only delete the AIs you have created.

    To delete an AI:

    1. Go to the Browse tab and click on the AI you want to delete.
    2. Click the more options button in the conversation window and then click Edit AI.
    3. Scroll down to the bottom of the Edit AI page and then click Delete your AI.
